DAY 1 – Auckland

Learn about the geography of Auckland as you meet with your Tour Manager in Auckland on day one. A beautiful and exciting sightseeing tour has also been prepared for you on this day. Take a walk at the top of MT EDEN. It is globally popular as an extinct Volcano that must be explored for discovering the 48 volcanoes spread through New Zealand’s largest city, Auckland. Enjoy a speedy ride to the top of the SKYTOWER. From here you will enjoy spectacular views of the city. The day ends with a safer and comfortable arriving at your accommodation that is located at the centre of Auckland. You can also have your delicious home cooked dinner. (D)

DAY 2 – Auckland to Tongariro National Park

On day two your itinerary will take you to the Mystical Waitomo. Have the opportunity to board an exciting BOAT TRIP. It will take you through the famous GLOW WORM CAVES. We will make you experience the amazing creatures over here and explore the adventurous history of caves. After that, move to the south and visit Tongariro National Park and also the ‘Volcano’ territory.  Consult with DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION VISITOR CENTRE for viewing the audiovisuals on park geology. Scenes from the Lord of the Rings movie and inspect lava flows from previous eruptions is also here to embrace your trip in an exceptional way. (B/D)

DAY 3 – Hike the Tongariro Crossing

Globally renowned Tongariro Alpine Crossing track is your destination for experiencing a spectacular one day adventure. Unique volcanic terrain is an embracing factor for this well planned tour to North Island. You will be properly assisted by experienced guides who will responsibly take you to point out cold mountain springs, active craters, old lava flows and thermal steam vents. Have glances of the brilliant emerald and blue lakes, alpine flora and fauna and the spectacular magnetisms of the North Island.  Explore the attractive and beautiful native forest as we walk to the finish. Take this morning for working as volunteers on the Mountain to Sea cycle trail – a much appreciated one by the Ruapehu locals. Later on, get ready for travelling north to Taupo. Our first visit would be Taupo Bungy site over the beautiful Waikato River. Enjoy a leisure time later and enjoy at the fabulous De Brett’s Mineral pools and spa. (B/D)

DAY 5 – Taupo – Rotorua

Amazing views of thunderous HUKA FALLS waits for you on day five. It is followed with an adventurous journey to view the ARATIATIA Dam – one of eight dams on the Waikato River. Your next stop will be at the Wai o Tapu Thermal wonderland. On being here you will be visiting steaming ground, hot springs and volcanic craters. You will also enjoy the globally famous Champagne pool and boiling mud. A walk through the park is also adventurous within. As for the afternoon, get prepared for visiting RAINBOW SPRINGS encompassed with Kiwi Encounter at kiwi conservation centre equipped with over 1,000 kiwis. Later on, the itinerary is designed with exploring the aviaries, discovering the pre-history in the eyes of tuatara, feeding the birds, words with Jenny the hand-reared kea and many more. The Big Splash as you travel onto Rotorua tonight after dinner, would surely give you adrenalin rush. (B)

DAY 6 – Rotorua

A fantastic WHITE WATER RAFTING adventure in the Kaituna River has been pre-planned for you on day six. We will be taking you to 3 small waterfalls before taking on the highest rated one at Southern hemisphere (7 meters tall). This is followed by visit to Zorb for an optional ride down the hill. ENJOY AN EVENING OF CULTURAL ENTERTAINMENT, a traditional Hangi (dinner cooked in an Earth oven) at one of the Rotorua’s top attractions. (B/D)

DAY 7 – Rotorua

This day has been preserved for leisure time spending after some exciting adventures. However, you are going to experience some rejuvenating Tree Canopy, Agro-ventures, Skydiving, perhaps a helicopter ride over the volcanic valleys and lakes and many more.

A typical kiwi dinner of Fish n Chips followed by a famous New Zealand ice cream cone will be ready to suit your taste buds. (B/D)

DAY 8 – Rotorua – Auckland

As for day eight, let’s travel back to Auckland with a stopover at Hobbiton. You can explore the MOVIE SET of the HOBBIT AND LORD OF THE RINGS. You will also learn the entire facet about the making of the film on our exclusive tour. At the end, travel on to Auckland airport where we will be saying a fond farewell and connect with our flight home. (B)
