DAY 1 – Auckland

‘Haere Mai’ – Welcome to New Zealand. Hope you enjoyed your flight to Auckland.  From the Airport we will get you transferred to your accommodation.

DAY 2 – Auckland-Waitomo-Rotorua

Day two of the itinerary will take you through the Waikato farm-lands to the famous WaitomoCaves. Enjoy your walk though the main cave. Then, take an underground boat trip for the beautiful glowworm grotto. Plunge into picnic lunch.

Rotorua in the afternoon

Great Sights Departs 7:30am – Arrives 5:00pm. You will get pick up from your accommodation.

Enjoy a traditional Maori Hangi Concert in the evening.

DAY 3 – Rotorua

Prepare yourself as we will pick you up from your hotel at approx 0730 for exciting sightseeing of Rotorua. Sights over here are: Paradise Valley Springs, Agrodome, Te Puia and Hobbiton Movie Set Tour.

DAY 4 – Rotorua-Wellington

You will be driven to Otorohanga.  Board train from the Northern Explorer Train (In case the train doesn’t operates, you will travel by coach). The journey takes you through the hill farms of the King Country. Travel while exploring the volcanic landscapes of National Park, the river-chiselled cliffs and gorges of the Rangitikei. Magnificent appeal of the sprawling Manawatu Plain, the horticultural and coastal settlements of the Kapiti Coast is also there to fit in to your nomadic soul.  At the end come and explore: Wellington, New Zealand’s Harbour Capital. Finally, get transferred to your accommodation.

DAY 5 – Wellington-Christchurch

A transfer to Wellington Ferry Terminal would be ready for you on day five of the itinerary. Have an Interislander Ferry trip across Cook Strait through the unspoilt Marlborough Sounds. Later on, arrive at Picton. Come across the scenic Coastal Pacific Train as you make your way into Christchurch.

DAY 6 – Christchurch-Dunedin

A transfer to the Intercity Bus Terminal would be ready for you on day six.

Travel across Ashburton, the large town serving local rural community. Located in between the Rakaia and Rangitata rivers, you can always try fly-fishing (the local obsession) once being here. Do not miss the opportunity to visit Timaru a small but beautifully formed city. Oamaru would be your lunch stop. Its population of around 12,000 and an impressive heritage is of utter magnificence. The late 19th century’s brazen Victorian architecture of Dunedin would also fill up your adventurous soul. No expense was spared. Plunge in to explore the historic public buildings, churches, palatial homes and others. Eco-tourism, penguin, albatross and seal colonies are some of the other adventurous factors.

DAY 7 – Dunedin

A full day tour to Larnach Castle a journey through Taieri Gorge Railway is ready for you on day seven.

The Taieri Gorge train will be your sightseeing train trip. Explore the spectacular scenery while departing from Dunedin Railway Station located in downtown Dunedin.
