Day 1 – Welcome to Christchurch

Have a comfortable transport to your hotel after arrival at Christchurch. It would be a perfect leisure time amid a welcome reception and dinner with your fellow travelers and Tour Director.

Day 2 – Christchurch – Franz Josef

Enjoy one of the top 6 train journeys in the world at the TranzAlpine. This amazing railway journey takes you to the Canterbury Plains through the Southern Alps heading to Arthur’s Pass. Afterward, stopover at Hokitika – the spectacular home for native greenstone (jade) and take a factory visit for having glances of local artists at work. The next stop is at Franz Josef Glacier – an exceptional and advancing glacier that has gathered global name for its unique appeal.  (An optional scenic Franz Josef Glacier flight is available for you)

Day 3 – Franz Josef – Queenstown

On this day of the itinerary you will be travelling through the Haast Pass. Witness the exotic beauty of Thunder Creek Falls; take an adventurous rainforest walk to trio of lakes – Wanaka, Hawea, and Dunstan. What for next up? Go for trying sumptuous stone fruit at a Cromwell orchard. After that, you can enjoy a stopover at Arrowtown, the historic gold mining located on the Arrow River. It has got a previous reputation for being one of the world’s richest rivers. Enjoy a sightseeing tour on arrival in Queenstown, the adventure-capital.

Day 4 – Queenstown ‘Free Time’

The day is preserved for exploring Queenstown, all the way. Plunge into the exiting wine tours, jet boat rides and white water rafting. During the evening enjoy your cruise across Lake Wakatipu – New Zealand’s oldest steamship. You will also be taken to explore the splendors of the TSS Earnslaw and Walter Peak Station. Once being here, you can go for a gourmet barbecue ‘highlight dinner’ at the Colonel’s Homestead. An entertaining after-dinner farm show is ready to revive your nomadic soul and you can hence have a glimpse into high-country popular farm life. Join the marvellous sing-a-long while cruising back to Queenstown.

Day 5 – Queenstown – Te Anau

Experience wonders of travelling across Devil’s Staircase and the exotic shores of Lake Wakatipu that would take you to Te Anau. Over here, picturesque sights of Fiordland National Park on the way to Milford Sound, would surely give you an experience for lifetime. Here is an opportunity of cruising among natural wonders. Have benefits of abundant photo opportunities at the Chasm, Pop’s Lookout, Mirror Lake, Mitre Peak and Bowen Falls. Return to lakeside. Day 6 – Te Anau – Dunedin

Day six has been preserved for Dunedin city tour. This would be your ‘Free Time’ afternoon, so that, you can opt for the matchless wildlife cruise and have glimpse of the Penguins and Royal Albatross. Furthermore, visit to the Cadbury Factory or a ride to the Taieri Gorge Railway is present at the itinerary, too.

Day 7 – Dunedin – Omarama

Day 8 – Omarama – Christchurch

Get yourself immersed to the scenic charisma of Mt. Cook National Park (optional scenic flight is available for you). Witness the magnetic serenity of Lake Pukaki and Lake Tekapo. Day 9 – Christchurch – Picton

Pacific Ocean coast of Kaikoura is famous for its whales (an optional whale watching flight is available here for you). For day nine, travel along the rugged coast and meet with your wanderlust. Make the tour an exceptional one by getting along with some New Zealand’s fur seals at Ohau Point. After that, pass the Grassmere Salt Works followed by the pretty seaside fishing at the matchless attractive village of Picton, for an orientation tour.

Day 10 – Picton – Wellington

For day ten, enjoy a wonderful cruising on Queen Charlotte Sound followed by travelling across the Cook Strait to Wellington. Once being here, you’ll have ample time for exploring the attractiveness of New Zealand’s nature, art, history and cultural heritage.

Day 11 – Wellington – Rotorua

For day eleven, there is a list of places that you would love adventuring around.  Kapiti Coast, past the dairy farms of Manawatu to Tongariro National Park and discover the alpine scenery of Mt. Ruapehu. After that, take a visit to Taupo and henceforth, tale a drive along with the shores of New Zealand’s largest lake. Have the opportunity to get glances of the beautiful Huka Falls followed by passing through the Wairakei Geothermal Power Station.

Tonight a traditional Maori Hangi feast and concert will be ready to entertain you. It would be a perfect way to gain an insight into Maori culture.

Day 12 – Rotorua Sights

Exceptional and amazing Agrodome Sheep Show at the multi-award-winning stage show awaits you at day seven.  Get a thrilling and helpful insight about the globally popular agriculture in New Zealand. Have glimpse of the amazing and state of the art sheep shearing, sheepdog demonstrations, bottle feeding of lambs, cow milking, exciting sheep auction and many more.

Later on the afternoon of ‘Free Time’, you can certainly opt for a visit at Rainbow Springs, which is full of Rainbow Trouts and native fauna including the kiwi, or Te Puia. Get guided by a local Maori guide while going through the geothermal valley filled with mud pools and geysers.

Day 13 – Rotorua – Auckland

Adventurous walk through the limestone caves is there on the itinerary too. Followed by it is the Waikato River – New Zealand’s longest river. Enjoy beautiful glimpses from Mt. Eden.
